About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified candidate as a Director, Business Development to join our Global Markets Team.

You will be responsible for originating HNI & uHNI clients in India by offering company’s offshore banking products.

It is important that you are a strategic thinker with strong business acumen. You should have a strong existing network of HNIs that can kick start company business immediately. This role requires you to have regular C-Level interaction to build new opportunities to present the company’s products.


  • Strategic development of HNI/uHNI client base out of India

  • Work closely with Product & Technology team to build offshore banking solutions for Indian HNIs/uHNIs

  • Formulate plans to acquire HNI/uHNI clients and strategically develop a go-to market strategy to build the sector

  • Manage a team of HNI bankers in India to support servicing requirements for offshore banking

  • Meet the sector targets through fee & subscription based revenue with an aim to grow the portfolio by 15% YoY

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferably in business administration or commerce

  • At least 10-15 Years of work experience in having handled HNIs/uHNIs & family offices in India

  • Excellent command over English & any local language with proficiency in speaking & writing

  • Deep understanding of offshore banking alternatives

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Existing network of HNI clients in India, preferably >10Crs Network HNIs

  • Excellent understanding of the cross-border payments framework in India
