International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate inclusive leadership and consider how organisations can drive societal progress. This year’s theme, Give to Gain, reflects our culture: by investing in people and elevating diverse voices, we build stronger organisations, make better decisions, and support sustainable global success.
At Interpolitan Money, over 50% of our leadership, senior, and team roles are held by women, well above the global average of around one-third in senior management. Across our teams in the UK, UAE, India and Canada, female colleagues play a central role in guiding decision-making, strengthening client relationships, and driving long-term growth, helping us challenge assumptions and better serve a diverse international client base.
We believe that empowering female talent is not a single initiative; it is a defining part of who we are and how we continue to grow.
Building leadership through opportunity
Equality thrives and develops in ecosystems where people are trusted, supported and respected. In building an environment that encourages and promotes authentic contribution through lived personal and professional experiences, we’ve created a culture of female leadership advocacy rarely seen in Financial Services.
We don’t follow this path to hit targets, inflate our optics or present performatively on social media – it’s been one of our primary ideological pillars since day one. Ensuring our teams are ethically balanced enables us to solve problems, access new opportunities, and confidently serve our clients without prejudice or bias.
Give to gain: A mindset of generosity and collaboration
This year, we’re being asked to reflect on the power of reciprocity, and the mutual exchange of support helps create balance and symbiotic success. The message of Give to Gain resonates strongly with how we at Interpolitan Money approach conversations about leadership principles and cultural growth. We believe that meaningful progress happens when we selflessly use our influence to invest and create opportunity for others before ourselves.
“This year’s IWD theme, Give to Gain, captures a belief I hold deeply, that the most meaningful progress is created when we use our influence to open doors for others. Lasting growth, whether in business or society, is shaped by the breadth of perspectives we choose to elevate and empower. At Interpolitan, our commitment to championing female leadership and advancing equality of voice remains unwavering.” Rishi Patel - Founder and CEO, Interpolitan Money
Creating equality across five continents
Give to Gain takes on an even more important meaning at Interpolitan Money. With teams in the UK, India, UAE, Canada and New Zealand, we understand more than most the importance of challenging stereotypes and discrimination.
By working as a collective, we can share knowledge and ideas on more inclusive ways to celebrate female success, as well as identify areas for improvement through conscious listening. We encourage our colleagues to approach interpersonal communications from a position of both confidence and empathy, as we believe it creates a safe, gender and ideologically neutral working environment.
These actions may seem small, but they create lasting impact. When you support others with honesty and respect, the professional benefits you earn are outstripped tenfold by the emotional and spiritual returns you gain.
Our future is in our hands
This International Women’s Day, we recognise the leaders who continue to shape our business and our industry. We also reaffirm our commitment to creating equal opportunity, empowering the world’s most exciting talent and delivering through actions, not words.
Whether you’re striking the Give to Gain pose, hosting an IWD event, or simply taking the time to reflect on the impact you can make, a better future is possible through connection and purpose.
