Interpolitan Money strengthens UAE offering with in-principle approval for a Stored Value Facilities licence

London | Dubai – 04.11.2026 Subject to final authorisation by the Central Bank of the UAE, Interpolitan Money intends to bring acquiring and issuing together on a unified platform in the UAE.
Interpolitan Money, the international financial services company providing cross-border capital infrastructure, has received in-principle approval from the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates in relation to its application for a Stored Value Facilities licence.
The approval marks an important step in Interpolitan Money’s plans to develop a unified platform bringing acquiring and issuing capabilities together for merchants in the UAE. The company will now complete the remaining requirements set by the CBUAE before final authorisation.
Interpolitan Money already has an established presence in the UAE, including operations in Dubai and a separately regulated entity in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Authorised by the Dubai Financial Services Authority since August 2025, Interpolitan Money (DIFC) Limited holds permissions for Managing Assets and Advising or Arranging on Money Services. The CBUAE application is separate and relates to proposed activities within the Central Bank’s regulatory perimeter.
“Receiving in-principle approval from the Central Bank of the UAE is one of the most important milestones in Interpolitan Money’s development. It follows years of disciplined work and investment across our people, technology, governance and controls, and I am incredibly proud of the team that has brought us to this point.
“The UAE is one of the world’s most important centres for international trade, investment and private capital. Our ambition is to build the regulated infrastructure that helps businesses, funds, intermediaries and private clients operate across markets with greater clarity and control
“This approval is an important step, but it is not the end of the process. We now move into the next phase of build and operational readiness as we work to complete the remaining requirements ahead of final authorisation.

During the next phase, Interpolitan Money will continue developing the systems, processes, controls and local operating capabilities required to support its proposed UAE activities. The company will continue to work with the CBUAE throughout that process.
The milestone forms part of Interpolitan Money’s wider international strategy. Headquartered in London, with operations in the UAE, India and Canada, the company supports international activity across more than 160 countries and over 50 currencies. Its cross-border capital infrastructure supports businesses, family offices, funds and intermediaries operating across entities, jurisdictions and markets.
